Opera Ball 2024

“Let the sunshine in” – following this joyful call from the musical Hair, the Opera Ball 2024 is dedicated to the colorful and wild 1960s. The State Opera of Hanover invites you to a sensory trip back to the time of Woodstock and Flower Power, of “Make Love Not War” and “I Have a Dream”. On two evenings in February, the opera house transforms into a playful festival ground, capturing the spirit of the hippie culture and the colorful and freedom-loving spirit of the “Summer of Love”. The musical diversity of the era inspires the artistic program and soundtrack of the evening. “Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair!”
